Saturday, Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church, Overland Park, Kan., Dr. Paul Maier will speak on two topics: “Christianity and the Competition” and “Martin Luther and the Reformation”. With all religions claiming to teach the truth, what makes Christianity any different? The credentials of our faith are compared with those or religions in the East and West. Dr. Maier will also be taking a look at the life and times of Martin Luther. What were the circumstances that allowed Luther to succeed when others before him had failed?
